Examples how you can help out SGAC

• Contact your National Point of Contact (NPoC) and ask how you can help contribute in your country
• Help out the Strategic Communications team
• Bring your views to the United Nations by giving your input through SGAC projects to COPUOS
• Introduce funding opportunities to the SGAC Executive Committee, such as grants, bursaries and corporate sponsorship from your employer or university (Contact Alex)
• Help update SGAC's database by finding contacts, e.g. head of department at universities who could tell their students about SGAC (Contact Alex)
• Get involved in forum discussions or start your own
Write articles for the website
• Read the By-Laws and Statutes
• Add an activity to this list if we have missed one

What you can do locally (e.g. at your school)

• Hold SGAC supported space events in your school and community etc. (Yuri's Night, World Space Week, others)
• Introduce space events to SGAC and help us support them
• Inform teachers about existing possibilities, e.g. send pupils to space camp, work with ESA/NASA , use space learning materials, etc.
• Teach others about space
• Join local space groups, such as SEDS for local projects - get in touch with your NPoC to learn which space groups are active in your country
• Hold space meetings with likeminded people – create a network among young people
• Tell others in your network(s) (e.g. Facebook, MySpace, etc.) about SGAC activities and encourage them to join – generate interest
Write to your local politician(s) and express your views about space industry development in your local area.
• Plan to attend IAC 2009 in Daejeon and write a paper
• Have your conference paper reviewed by a mentor in the SGAC network
• Add an activity to this list if we have missed one
