Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to the most common of your questions:

What is the Space Generation?
The Space Generation identifies a large group of young (minded) volunteers who have an interest in space and an ambition to act. In fact, the Space Generation Network is "the biggest, global, space youth network". We know that by working together, we can make a difference.

What is SGAC?
The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) is a non-governmental organisation which brings the views from it's members to and works with: the United Nations, Space Agencies and other organisations. Members are students and young space professionals (you!). Thus we engage young people in space policy. Find out more here.

I want to get involved in space - what can I do?
Join us, check our projects, participate in the forums, contact your National Point of Contact (NPoC), help out SGAC in your spare time , get active...

There are no space activities in my country - what can I do?
Check our regional pages (coming soon) and take a look at your country. Contact your National Point of Contact (NPoC) and tell him/her that you are interested in space activities. If there is none, you can become NPoC yourself, see here how.

We will update this section from time to time. If you have other questions that are not listed here, please send an email to info@spacegeneration.org - we will try to answer you as soon as possible.
