I guess it is being a too worthless venture to raise my voice about another way of communication, where you are almost retracting your gears, and ready to take off.

Last year, we found that a radio station can be very helpful to reach people in 3rd world. So may I point out that a radio station may help to achieve sustainability?

first we have to setup a station. That can be done using shoutcast (shoutcast.com) for free. Then we need jockey(s). I myself have experience of RJ (space talk show_) and DJ (Bolero music).

However, you may think about this point.
