SGAC is looking for the Communications & PR Lead

The mission of the Comm & PR lead is to address key issues of public relations for SGAC and improve international communications between young space activists, developing in-house expertise and tools for communication, promotion, and media. Apply today!

Main activities include the preparation of SGAC's monthly newsletter, coordinating media representation in relation to SGC'09 and lead implement the mission of the Communications and Public Relations (C&PR) team.

As part of SGAC's Executive Office, the C&PR Lead will work closely with the members of SGAC's Executive Council.

If you possess one or more of the following skills, please consider applying:

• Experience working in the strategic communications & public relations field.
• Knowldege of Web2.0 technologies.
• Experience managing a diverse team and working internationally.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office software, particularly in using PowerPoint and Mac's Pages in iWorks.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Must be able to work well independently and within a team environment.
• Must be able to work with various levels of the organization.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Experience working on creating, developing and protecting trademarks.
• Interest and knowledge in space activities.
• Experience working as a volunteer.
• High energy, enthusiastic and charismatic personality.
