SGAC Projects

SGAC acts as an incubator for several space development projects. These projects are led by members of the Space Generation just like you. Current and past projects are listed here and the index of their online discussions can be found here. Each year, the most active projects and its members are invited to come to the Space Generation Congress for three days of focused progress in person with experts from around the world. Please check back regularly as projects will be updated in the coming weeks.

SGC Projects

Which projects will be at the Space Generation Congress? This year, SGAC will select the projects to be represented at SGC in late May. The criteria will be two fold; 1. how active the project is and 2. if the project had an abstract accepted for IAC the week after SGC. SGC is the meeting of the most active people and projects of SGAC, therefore, if you want to see your project come to SGC, please be active and enthusiastic about your project. To be active, join the forum for a project.

Highlight Projects

Each month we will present one or two projects in the spotlight. These are the projects that for that month provide major visibility and output for SGAC and need a boost from you to make the best impact on the global space community. This could happen shortly before a conference at which this project will be presented to. Find out how you can participate.

Space Policy Projects and UN COPUOS Input

SGAC’s prime space policy input is to bring your voice to the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS) through participation in several so-called Action Teams and Working Groups. Also take a look at our other space policy projects and how you can get involved.

Education Projects
