Project Work and Tasks

just had a small query regarding the SEDSAT-II project.am not able to find any link on the SEDS website through which i can make my contributions to the project.can anyone enlighten me on this please???

may be it is an obvious question and is used be asked whenever you share with other students about space.

it is my concern that we all have one saying about this. what do you saying guys.

Hi everyone, I'm going to be writing up a web-survey for you guys to take in the next week or two. You have all had a lot of discussion, which I haven't had a lot of time to read up on, but I'm going to be doing my catch-up work through a survey.

It was suggested in another topic (awarding) that we should have a two-stage application process.

Instead of just submitting a report/presentation of what the students completed, why not have them submit a pre-application before starting their endeavor? I would make the pre-application be less than a few pages, just enough information to outline their project. I think this would serve a few purposes; first is that a general idea of the extensiveness of the project could be determined very quickly, making the review process faster. Second, it would force the teams to be more motivated and do a little planning and state their goals. Also, comparing the two documents would show how the team’s objective and their result compare.

I suggest the winner group or individual have an opportunity to visit NASA organisation as a field triep to suplement their knowledge on space.

So, we have to attract a sponsor. I'm going to be approaching a couple firms in my area on behalf of SGAC soon, but have never done this before. Hopefully some of you have!

We should coordinate our sponsorship efforts like has been done by SGAC this past year. Let us not approach any companies until we've written a small donations solicitation.

Here, we'll talk about how much exactly we would like to award, and how we'd like to award it. We could have first, second, and third place prizes, one large prize, or put some of our money towards bringing some folks to SGC to receive the award.

Welcome to the Students Reaching Students work group. We're going to have a lot of work cut out for us this year. It should be, possibly, your first experience in setting up a prize foundation.
