Bio

Maite Trujillo is the Project Manager and Technical Leader of several research initiatives in the area of Safety and Human Factors at Boeing Research & Technology Europe in Madrid (Spain). She is a member of several European working groups, such as European Commercial Aviation Safety, ECAST and contributes to Future Aviation Safety Team (FAST) and the Human Factors Steering Group (HFStg) amongst others.

Previously, Maite worked in the Human Systems Integration Division at NASA Ames Research Center (Mountain View, CA). She has also involved in several Mars-like exploration activities in extreme environments as part of the Spaceward Bound project in the Atacama Desert (Chile) and the Mojave dessert (California, USA). She continues her involvement is this initiative as a member of different international teams.

In the past, she was appointed Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Wright State University, where she lectured at graduate and undergraduate level. She has worked in different research and educational institutions as well as in Industry in Europe and USA.
